The only reason I posted this unfortunate mishap is to prevent someone else having the same thing happen to them.
PLEASE… ALWAYS use your emergency brake when you exit your vehicle on our launch ramp when backing in your boat. DO NOT just trust putting your vehicle in PARK!

We are having our annual pig roast at the boat club coming up Saturday, August 7th starting at 5:30. This event is open to all members, plus guests.

You can send in a reservation along with payment before August 1, 2010 and it will be only $8.00 per adult, $5.00 per child up to 12 years old, children 5 years and under are free.

Prices will be more if you wait and register the day of the event.

Please remember to bring your lawn chairs.

My family had the opportunity to go up to Hammondsport, NY this year to their annual antique boat show. Talk about amazing boats. If you are interested in wooden classics, you definately do not want to miss next years show. It is always held on the 3rd weekend in July.
